She's Fire

by Emma S.

Fire.

There’s fire in her eyes.

Hell-fire rains down from the skies.

She’s done being told what to do.

No more man-splanning.

It’s time to learn what she knows.

She knows because she is.

She is the very foundation from which you were built on.

Yet you continually tear her down.

Brick by brick.

Always something to nit-pick.

You dick.

You think with two heads.

Still not enough as her one.

Things you’ve never even had to consider.

Now, she's a hot burning flame in a world so cold and so bitter.

She will not scorch you as you have scorched her.

She carries her warmth with dignity.
